has over 30 years experience in pioneering and operating firms in a variety of fields including civil, geotechnical and environmental engineering, banking, and real estate.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, John spent 14 years as an Officer in the U. S. Army. His last assignment was as a Test Group Director of underground nuclear test programs in the Defense Nuclear Agency. After leaving the Army, John came to Dallas to open and run an office for a geotechnical engineering firm. Two years later he founded the civil engineering firm of Jones & Boyd, and then the geotechnical engineering firm of Alpha Testing a year later. As a Registered Professional Engineer, he was involved in the design and construction of numerous development projects. His interest in real estate development began in the early 80s when he developed a number of industrial/tech buildings, as well as several retail projects.
In the mid 80s, John turned his attention to the environmental industry, founding CURA, an environmental engineering firm, escaping for the most part, the real estate collapse of the late 80s. He returned to real estate development in the mid 90s, developing industrial, retail, and medical office projects.
John is an achiever as well as a visionary and has a passion for what he does; with a strong ability to evaluate the viability of real estate transactions and business opportunities. He is sought after by colleagues and past clients for business advice and consulting. John is the Chairman of United Community Bank, which he founded in 1998, and is also chairman of eight other companies and serves on the board of non-profit organizations.
John graduated from the University of Missouri at Rolla with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. He earned a Master of Science in Systems Management from University of Southern California. He is also a graduate of the Owner/President Management program at Harvard University. John is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and more than 10 other states.

has over 10 years of experience in business management and ownership, with experience in the real estate and construction industries for the past 5 years. His past projects include Light industrial centers, Office Condominium, and Residential Construction. Gill is currently working on numerous projects including retail projects, commercial office development, and industrial business park projects. His sales and marketing background, coupled with real estate finance and development knowledge, allows him to be well-suited to handle all aspects of any real estate development project.
Gill holds a degree in Marketing from the University of North Texas and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker. He is a Member of such organizations as, the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Kinsman Ventures. He is responsible for managing the financial performance and underwriting new developments, acquisitions, and other business ventures.
Additionally, Mike manages the financial relationships between Kinsman and financial institutions as well as investment partnerships with Kinsman Equity Partners. His areas of expertise also include financial analysis, capital budgeting, real estate analysis and evaluation, business planning and evaluation, and project management and development.
Mike's entrepreneurial interests have brought him to Kinsman's parent company where he manages the financial resources of over 20 operating companies and investment partnerships and serves as their CFO.
Prior to joining Kinsman, Mike was a lead analyst with Sprint for seven years; specializing in project management and development.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Texas.

has played an integral role in the formation and start-up phase of more than 10 businesses. Susan’s focus at Kinsman is evaluating systems to ensure company growth as well as industry compliance. Her expertise includes business entity formation, business regulatory issues, as well as development of policies and procedures. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Science from the State University of New York.

N. Johnson Ellis - President of Cura Emergency Services, LLC Johnson is one of the founding partners of Cura Emergency Services. He has 17 years of experience in the environmental industry. Prior to founding Cura Emergency Services Johnson served in key support capacities to the Chairman of Board of Pepper Industries for 8 years.
Johnson holds a Bachelor in Business Adminstration from Baylor University with Majors in Finance, Economics and Real Estate and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish languages.
Johnson is proud of his two daughters and one son and his 23 years of marriage to Beth. He has been a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano for 25 years. He has 20 years of overseas missions experience in Brazil, Romania and Russia. He is one of the founders of Amazon Outreach and serves on the board of several for profit and also non-profit organizations.
